    Oh…. How can I find that out? Why would they not place an order though? Its all money for them regardless right? I mean he took the time to fill in the computer stuff etc

    Because they (and SEAT) make more money on private orders, rather than fleet orders. I’d be surprised though if they intentionally didn’t place the order. My personal experience with SEAT was nothing but pleasant – of course that doesn’t count for much since you’re with a different dealership, but from what i can tell from experience, they’re good.

    If it went anything like it did for us, you talked to a “motability specialist” – you should just walk in, and talk to the guy. I know that, when we had a hiccup (he forgot to enter the pin when taking delivery, so we drove for two weeks without insurance), we walked in and sorted it out. It’s easy to faff about on the phone for a salesman, it’s not as easy if you’re there in person. If you don’t trust that they placed the order, tell him to cancel and go straight to a different dealership (ours was Cardiff, in case you’re from around here) and order there.
