So, took steroid overnight, fasted, went without tea in the morning. Got to surgery and nursey says she can’t do it. OK, she can take the sample of blood but does not have the correct colour container to send to lab. Re-booked to have test at hospital (which is full to overflowing with Covid cases). Ain’t the NHS wunnerful!
