    Hi fwippers

    Well yes and no?

I’ve started yet another search for a suitable car for my needs and the Peugeot 5008 has hit the number one spot but after an hour or so checking this and that I noticed that Motability only do the 1.5 diesel engine and it’s performance for such a big car carry heavy loads is lacking to say the lest but the rest of the car is excellent.

So with the lack of cars with big, big boots it brings me back to the WAG manufacturer and now returned to what was my third choice after the SWB Tiguan, LWB Tiguan then the Seat Tarraco so still in the VW group with little else to chose from outside of it. Having to do my test drives on paper is not easy so sort of rules out many possible car substitutes because I’ve just not go the energy to go around dealers sitting in cars and doing nothing more than twiddle switches so better the Devil I know.

My plan of actions now, and its not something I like to do but when you back a Rat into a corner expect trouble, I’m going to extend my lease next week then in a month or so time or whenever its not important I’m going to order a Tarraco Xcellence to get in the waiting line and fix a AP price, then when Q4 prices are release I will check out AP price and whether the Tiguan variants have returned and if not the Tarraco goes forward but if the Tigger returns with no price rises (unlikely) I cancel the Tarraco.

I hate to have to cancel again just like 2018 cock-up’s but at least my local VW and Seat dealers are the same supplying company so at least they can’t moan to much and to make it easier on them I’m not adding any extras so they will have thousands of customers queuing up to buy the car as they can’t keep up with demand.?
