Sorry that you’ve been unlucky Dante, but that’s the problem with the scheme.
Re pricing and AP’s, it’s not just what cars Motability want on the scheme, it’s also very much about what the manufacturers want to offer.
If a car isn’t selling and they have stocks they need to clear, then the price they offer to Motability reduces, but when they can’t meet the demand, they increase prices to slow the demand, it’s market forces in action.
You often see this with new models being really cheap for 1 or 2 quarters just so that people see the cars on the road and to drive interest, similarly, when a model is about to be replaced, they reduce prices, a case in point the Kona Electric, dropping nearly £2500 this quarter, as they have to shift these old models before the introduction of the new one, and many customers will want the new model unless the deal is too good to be refused.
