“remember if you can’t get out you may need a vitamin D supplement, have a word with your doctor first of course.”

Well, I’m trying to, Brydo, I really am.  My GP has already reduced my Daily Dose of D3 from 4,000IU (as originally prescribed by my MS Specialist) to 3,200IU (without benefit of a Blood Test, mind you).  Then he said I should now buy my D3 from a supermarket or the Internet.  I pointed out that taking large doses of D3 is isn’t some self-diagnosed option but a course recommended by my SPECIALIST.  He still refused.

I got in touch with my MS Specialist to say I’m being refused D3 on prescription so Specialist writes to GP ‘requesting’ that he put D3 on my repeat prescription list.

GP has now complied with that request – but the bustard is only giving me 800IU Daily!

I rang the Surgery and asked the lovely French Receptionist to query this with my GP.  She said she’d write him a note and call me back.  Since then – nothing.

    So . . .
