They only change your gears, if you are in drive mode and then use the paddles they will either change up or down depending on your revs, but if you want the extra push you select the left paddle and it’ll drop a gear and your revs will increase.
Can you expand on your findings please

You say at the start of the post about regen brakes, please help me out on this, I have the exact same car as you and I can’t find anywhere to change the regen of the breaks for the battery.

Just been out to check it does have the light and I’ve worked out the alarm setting but still need the locking the car question answering
Questions..
1. Can I lock the car from the passenger side whilst I’m sitting there waiting for the driver to come back (surely I don’t have to lean over to the drivers side door)
2. I have a dog, how do I turn the internal alarm off so it doesn’t go off whilst the dog is in the vehicle? Forums I’ve read say you can’t, you have to leave the car unlocked ?? The car automatically locks itself after you leave it and the key isn’t present, does Kia want us to leave the key, the dog and the car whilst I go off shopping?? Lol.
Any help will be appreciated
Yes it does connect to android, Bluetooth etc etc, very simple just find the phone and assign the number.
Not sure about lights as I’ve not driven at night
I chased my dealer after your post. The car has arrived in UK port, will be with dealer next week and collection end of next week hopefully. Thanks for your info

Here’s hoping mine goes into production earlier too, considering you ordered yours March 6th and I ordered mine 8th January.
I’ve come to terms with the fact I won’t be recieving the car until at least July. Bored of asking for updates, bored of being told different things. Puts a big downer on the pleasure of getting a new car.

I ordered mine in blue, GT line S in January still a no show and still no information from my dealer as to when.

Worst dealership: Ford and Vauxhall
Ford: Added a uprated sony stereo with extra speakers £600 extra, pick up day Sony stereo was in but NO speakers, dealer tried to bullshit me saying they weren’t part of the package, once he realised he’d been caught out he said what did I want as compensation as he couldn’t fit them now and didn’t want the matter going any further.
Vauxhall: went to test drive a 3dr astra stood around for 30 mins, dealer came out with a 5dr astra when I explained I wanted as requested the 3dr she with an attitude said it’s the same car just more doors (lol) when I explained to the seller a person who should now there cars that the suspension was different so it handled differently to the 5dr plus as a disabled person getting in and out is a priority she just looked at me as if I’d just pissed in her bed.
Some dealers need to realise we are people and it’s still a sale regardless!!
I’ve read these are the tweaks to the MY25 model, halogen headlights on cars below GT line s models, rear passenger airbags but I’ve also read there’s absolutely nothing changed other than a software update to reduce the power/emissions so it can drive in the ULEZ areas (better known as Sadiq Khans Unjustified Looting of Every Zone).

I don’t believe it will be I think the “paying” customers will be looked after then motability so as you’ve all said June/July.</p>
Just had a phonecall from Kia regarding my Sportage order.
I ordered 8th January 2024 was told April but know I’ve been told motability want their customers to have the most up to date MY25 version?? Personally I think that’s a bit of horse manure, they said because I ordered mine very early in quarter one I may get mine first ??
What’s everyone else’s thoughts on this, when do you think it’s more likely to be.

Mother getting a new car soon and I’m the named driver, she’s already on the scheme, has a car already. What does she need to take with her to order the car ? Motability website is a bit unclear, I’m not an appointee just the driver, I he website says passport etc she doesn’t have one
Never had any issues ever just wondering on this ? Is it new ? What’s your thoughts please
