Excellent, good for you ? Did he give you a timescale for delivery?
It was from stock, so about a week. ??
Dealer managed to order the kuga 2.5l Duratec FHEV 190PS CVT Automatic FWD £2695 in Lucid red today.
This was following Motability saying it wasn’t on the scheme but the dealers list said different.
Nissan have told me the X-trail is no longer on the scheme despite being on their own motability pricing.
I have had a similar experience this morning with trying to order a Kuga Vignale hybrid with it on Fords price list but motability wont let the dealer order as it’s computer says no!.
thanks to Macca, taken from the rumour thread.
Very small green shoots of XTrail recovery guys, good news if you’re hanging out for the N-Connecta, gotta be a bit more patient yet if you’re waiting on the Tekna.
My 3 day wait for the new prices has effectively cost another £600 if the x-trail does re-appear on list the as it is available with Nissan but vanished within minutes after appearing from motability search.
I’m shocked Pat. Wasn’t expecting them to drop, necessarily, but certainly didn’t see them increasing with the 10.1% increase to benefits. Wonder if 1. They are doing more private sales so can afford to be more demanding of MB, or 2. They’ve had lots of orders (ironically, because of the more competitive AP) and think they might be able to get away with asking a bit more. I’m no expert, but I can’t see any fiscal reason for the increases.
I was hoping they would stay the same or a slight increase but not 20% on the low spec x-trail @ £3499 and what is more shocking is a QQ @ £4000 AP.
I can order on 12th April and really wanted the QQ epower Tekna which at £3199 was just about in reach but if these prices are correct the £800 increase kills that wish stone dead. This is just getting silly now
I had my eye on the x-trail and ready to order now but similar to you I’m looking elsewhere now but similar cars are all but out of reach or not on the scheme and it getting more difficult for my needs.
Is it me or are Nissan pricing themselves out of the motability market with the ridiculous increases in their AP’s.

£600 jump in price for the x-trail accenta premium wow!
Nissan website says the new motability prices will be available on the 4th.

If you think the Accenta premium is poverty spec, go and look at the non e-power Visia trim lol. I’m hoping for the Tecna e-power to join! Hyundai are one if not the first to put their new prices up the night before.
I’ve seen how basic the Visia is, no sign of a touchscreen lol but for the motability scheme the lowest spec available is the only x-trail on the scheme.
I shall be glued to the laptop with regards to any updates for either removal or additions to the range.
Ok low spec…..
March 30, 2023 at 12:37 pm in reply to: Info, rumours and hearsay re. 1st April availability #216945Having visited four different dealers (renault/skoda/nissan/mazda) in the past several days, not one dealer would commit to telling me whether there are changes on the 1st April but only Skoda wanted to push ordering before Q2 on a kamiq/Karoq which is too small for my needs.
I’m hoping for the x-trail N-Connecta e-POWER 204 Automatic 2WD to return instead of the current poverty spec Accenta premium and hopefully a reduced AP as I originally went for a test drive in a QQ but it felt claustrophobic and fell in love with the x-trail.
In my area neither Mazda or Renault seem to be bothered to reply to either phone calls or emails and they are both part of the same dealership group (5 sided shape).
No-one from their motability department or so called specialists have been bothered to reply or answer phone calls and I’ve been ready to order since November 22.
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Good question Phaedra, I like the machine grey also.</p>
Mrs pat likes the deep blue but I’m hoping there are discounts on the paint.I currently drive a c-max 2008 2.0 auto petrol so not exactly been breaking any speed limits for the last few years.
How long from order to delivery for the homura.
Thanks @ChrisK
I was just discussing the no test drive with Mr Pat and I was reminded that no test drives were done by her last 6 motability cars as she requires hand controls and I have test driven the cars for her.
So I may ask to be test driven in a manual car to decide if I order.
Seat is something I have looked at but previously my partner was asked I she could handle the 1.5L power of the model she was looking at and felt belittled.
