I keep checking to see if it is back on the scheme. As my dealer can’t order the car,
What I will get depends on what comes back on the scheme,
I ordered in June ultimate AWD with tech pack, before they removed them.
What I can’t understand is, rather than sell the car to you at the end of the lease for a fair and responsible price. Motability would rather sell it at auction for a much lower price.
where is the logic behind that?

We also have an order pending. Email received from motabilty saying
Hyundai are still working on the order for a Hyundai Ioniq 5 Electric Hatchback.
There’s nothing else you need to do. The dealer will update you as soon as there is more information.
Thing is what/when will return back onto the scheme.
My concern is that the AWD I have ordered will not return.
So where does that leave me?
I did notice that other refresh orders Skoda.etc were upgraded.
I have spoken with my dealer, and there is nothing he can do untill motabilty put them onto the scheme, he can then place an order. depending on what motabilty allow for matching my order with the spec.
He does seem to think I will have a car by the end of September, as Hyundai have targets to meet this quarter.
Hopefully they will match like for like with what you have ordered.
I will not be happy with a less spec car which is what the ultimate is now. Having to add the packs to get the same as my order. Ultimate+tech pack.
As you say those that have ordered the namsan should get the tech pack max with vision roof.
I think this will be the case. Apparently there is a stockpile already at Tilbury. Just waiting for the lunch like the Tuscan
My dealer has informed me that, they are due two my25 models this week. One for demo, and the other for showroom. This happening at all other dealers, as shown by the memo he received
I don’t know if this is true but, he says that he has 15 orders pending on the system he has no control over allocation of these, it is all done by Hyundai,
with one customer waiting since April. So assume orders will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, depending on colour/spec/model ordered.
He thinks Hyundai will sort this out once delivery’s are in the showroom, followed by the allocation of stock to orders on the system
little point in having these cars on display and you can’t order one. With the next 1/4 sales targets in mind.
Now the question is, will motability have sorted it out by then, as to when and what spec we will be getting for our orders.
i can see us missing the initial allocation, once Hyundai start to release stock, if they can’t decide what model spec we will be getting.
Has anyone else noticed that the Ioniq 5 is NOT on Hyundai UKs motability page any more? They’re def honouring my order, but it’s looking like they took it off motability!
looks to me like a real mess to me. Motability is still showing the ioniq 5 as being on the scheme. But now with the new AP’s.
But you cannot order any, as they are now with different tech packs. Went to see my dealer yesterday regarding my order. He seems to think that previous orders will transferred to the new model spec, that was ordered. As happened with motability orders for the Tuscan.
While we wait for motability and Hyundai agreed new AP’s and models for the scheme.
hope this is the case as the tech pack with my order does not now include the memory seats, it is now the Zen pack.

don’t really want to miss this initial shipment, as this would mean a new factory order, with an expected delivery of next year.
