Had a call from my dealer today. As I said I ordered mine on 10th May and he is now being told by Peugeot that it should be ready in September, although he doesn’t have an actual build date yet.
He has promised he will phone again as soon as they give him a firm build date
I have had my Peugeot 5008 GT on order since the 10th May and my dealer advised me last week that the were expecting my car to be built sometime in October , although they have no build date yet.
Suggests that the estimated date on the Peugeot websites are nonsense
Odd though as when I posted about this on the Facebook a Peugeot saleswoman said they can still be ordered but not being advertised as Peugeot wants to try and shift the diesels. obviously I’m just saying what she’s said like.
I’ve joined that group now, looks a useful one.
It does seem a bit strange that you can still get it even though it is not advertised, but she seems pretty genuine.
I will try and get mine to tell me what is going on this week
Hi surprised you don’t get any paperwork yes with Kwik fit no paperwork. But whenever in garage with bmw always paperwork with the costs involved. Recently had a bulb changed and new wipers was left a receipt in the car of the costs and what was done same with service paperwork and a video emailed of the inspection.
I used to get an invoice on my VAG cars but I have a KIA now and just get a tick box check sheet for the servicing work. I assume because the car is under warrantee there is no bills.
Never had anything from KF
My Local Kwik fir always give me a copy of the invoice
As the title, can we go anywhere elsewhere for tyres and puncture repairs? Need a tyre repair/ replaced, our local Kwick Fit are not very good, you can’t book in, it’s a matter of just turn up and leave the car for a few hours.
I think with Kwikfit it depends on the branch you go to
I have used the same nearest to me in Cardiff for years and I have always had excellent service.( They do seem to book cars in but I have never actually done it so I don’t know how closely they stick to times
I have always just turned up (or been towed by the RAC!) for an emergency but don’t usually have to wait too long (about 2 hours is the most). My previous Motability car had about 8 punctures in the three years and this one has had 4 or 5 (lots of potholes and careless people in Cardiff) so I am a fairly regular user
Yes I realised today that the 5008 had disappeared from the list
I ordered mine on about 10 May and it is meant to come in early July. No reports of any change from my Dealer yet but I will E Mail him over the weekend to check.
Sorry you seem to have missed out for the moment
