Because skoda have now massively reduced the cost of said packs.
Thanks for the replies. Having thought about it I think that the 85 non edition vs the 85 edition is a huge difference in spec. For just £300 more you would get a far superior car. I will wait and see what is there when I go to the dealer but if it’s a 85 non edition I think I will cancel and reorder. £300 and six months of waiting is a small price to pay. This is my first motability car and I’m worried about being stuck with something I regret
Hello everyone,
I ordered an enyaq coupe 80 in October and have just been informed that my car will be ready for collection next week. Both my motability account and the dealer have the car down as just an 85 and not an 85 edition. My dealer has said he thinks this means I will receive a car which has the 85 battery but with the 80 spec.
I hope this is not true.
My concerns are; will the operating system be the old (3.0) one? If so, will it be able to work with the new battery? The old operating system had a lot of complaints and is no longer being updated after just 2 years.
Are retail customers being upgraded to the 85 edition while motability customers are being given a worse car for the same money? Is that legal?
Are motability going to be okay with buying a car at full price which will be worth far less than the other 85’s?
The motability site currently lists the enyaq as the 85 edition at just £300 more than I was quoted but I would gladly pay that for all the extra features.
I’m sure I have other queries but this is all I can think of for now. I don’t want to cancel the order or refuse the car but I also don’t want to take something that I later regret.
Does anyone have any information on this? Have any of you received your car?
