Car mot yesterday, front tyres needed changing, as advised on here before hand, booked in to kwikfit yesterday afternoon, arrived this morning 15 mins early, new tyres fitted and out the door in 45 mins..

So has to be said Thanks all involved easy process throughout ??..

2,    book mot pick up/return with video conformation from Volvo via the app/email.

3,  tyres booked through the app and not one problem..

I do sometimes think Kwikfit get the rough end of the stick on here – it’s well known that people complain loudly and are happy quietly, it’s why you have to use a little common sense dissecting online reviews.

Personally I’ve been on the scheme a little over 7 years now and with two exceptions, I’ve never had a problem. Even those two were minor (well to me) as one was when I just turned up and was told to come back in a week (just went to another branch 2 miles away and got in the next day) and more recently when they replaced an expensive 20″ tyre with less than a thousand miles on it when it had a VERY repairable mid-tread puncture but then again, I don’t know if they even DO repairs and it didn’t cost ME anything.

I am, however, well aware that I may just have been lucky and have no doubt that some people will have had some undeniably poor experiences

If I have noticed a flat tyre at home Ive learnt to avoid kwik fit home fitting service as unable to wait 6 days for a visit

Straight onto RAC straight out wheel off taken to kwik fit back on 90 mins all done

Dont expect it to always be as quick but it will not take 6 days for sure.

Kwik fit change and muck around with agreed onlne home repair appointments so personally avoid

Had 3 different brands on my last car and it does affect the drive

Thanks for the replies, I know there are so many horror stories and understand the frustration it must cause, however that’s experiences of others, for me it’s always been a positive, so credit where credits due, I was very impressed.

One of the last in (on appointment mind) and out very soon, must say felt great not hanging around..
