Hi all

Apologies if this has been asked before, but after ordering our new VW Tiguan, (yes I’m another one), last week we were given our order number so we can track the car.

After downloading the app and trying the main VW site, upon using the order number its saying it isn’t recognized and to contact the dealer.

How long does it take for the order number to work?

@Beau  if all things were running normally, the dealership places the factory order & about 7 days later they should have had confirmation it’s all been processed & be able to supply you with the factory order # for the app.

But not knowing how many admin staff at VW are still at work, the time frame for this might be extended.

The dealership has already given me the order number so it must be due on the app soon.

As you say, Admin there permitting.

I also had problems with the App.  I used the main VW website instead, you still have to register an account with them but it works  🙂

I was lead to believe the order tracker had been taken down. It stopped working for me a few weeks after ordering my VW.

Hi Matt

I think that’s the correct assumption in that it’s been taken down but VW are saying they have an IT problem.

VW advice is to talk to your dealer but I’m sure we all got four walls we can talk to and in the mean while save our breath.

My Tigger was only ordered last week so won’t chase them until next Easter.?
