Last quarter was very confusing to follow as there were 3 or 4 different threads on the go all with different information regarding the new quarters prices. Hopefully, everyone will agree that it makes far more sense to have just one thread with this information, so I thought I would start this one.
So please post any confirmed prices (rather than rumours, speculation or wish lists) on this thread. Thanks!

So is this thread just for the new Q3 confirmed prices? Confirmed prices will only be available on Monday when they are published on the Motability website. There is no need for them here.
If you are talking about the leaks of Q3 prices between now and Monday, there is already a thread for that.
Or is it for any dealer ‘deals and offers’ during Q3 such as dealer AP contributions, cashback or other special offers, because these wouldn’t come under the banner of confirmed prices.

You have misunderstood in several respects. As stated, this thread is just for confirmed Q3 prices, not offers as they appear on a separate thread. There aren’t any threads that I could see for confirmed Q3 prices, just some speculative talk which is very different and results in a lot of clutter. Secondly, it can sometimes be the case that forum contributors get hold of certain manufacturer price lists before they go ‘live’ on the Motability website. For example, @BigDave is very good at this. Some dealers post them early (probably in error). Last quarter there was virtually nothing released early, but in previous quarters we have seen as many as half a dozen different manufacturers new price lists before the quarter change date. Finally, the Motability website is notoriously unreliable on the first day of the quarter change. It often doesn’t update until late morning and, when it does, there are usually omissions. It tends to take a day or two before it settles down. The idea is that people will post manufacturers price lists here as they appear (or links to them) as they are much easier to follow than the information that appears on the Motability website (and often more accurate)
Those are the reasons why I started this thread. The hope was that it would just be confirmed price info, but you questioning the validity of it has already scuppered that plan!

June 29, 2024 at 9:11 pm #283396I actually like the idea of a thread showing early Q3 prices, should they become available.
Last quarter there 3 threads all on the topic, that ended up all cluttered and finding any early price’s amongs’t was like finding a needle in a haystack, as is thread started previous on the subject.
Nice and neat, just like @BigDave ‘s thread or @wmcforum ‘s vehicles on the scheme thread would have been nice but, I guess this thread is beginning to look the opposite, which is a shame!

Yes, that’s exactly why I started it as last quarter was a mess and very difficult to follow with multiple threads. Sadly, the questioning of this thread (and resultant need to justify it) plus a pointless cartoon has already messed it up. I don’t know why I bothered!
As this thread is intended just for manufacturers price lists once obtained, could I please request that future posts are restricted to that only?
June 30, 2024 at 1:00 am #283406Not a good idea for 2 reasons.
People will be looking for the price of a specific car. They will have to trawl through a lot of posts to get any info, its useless.
Secondly, the first few days of new price list is crazy yes, but short lived. People will still create a post of their fav car or manufacturer and like minded users can easily access the info.
Trying to force everyone on to one post, some people will not be happy.
I dont care either way, but I quite like the unbridled carnage as folks get excited, its like Christmas Day for some folks.
June 30, 2024 at 8:03 am #283414Prior to last quarter, we always had one thread with new price lists as they appeared. Last quarter, as several of us have commented, was a mess with multiple threads on the same subject and for those of us who were still open minded about our next car it was a real challenge to keep up with it. It’s not about stopping other threads if people want to discuss specific cars – of course not. My suggestion was simply that as price lists appear it would make life easier if we posted them in one place. Those who would find that useful may care to do so. Those who would not find that useful need not look. I genuinely wish that I hadn’t bothered. What I hoped would be a useful thread has been trashed by a couple of participants for some very bizarre reasons. Thankfully just as many people thought that it was a good idea.
June 30, 2024 at 8:38 am #283415Well I think it’s a great idea Glos Guy, so many thanks! 🙏👍

Thanks @BigDave and thanks also for opening a new offers thread. Your efforts in that regard are much appreciated. In the past you have managed to find some price lists ahead of time but, as with last quarter, there appears to be nothing yet (I’ve been Googling myself – I’ve had some luck in previous quarters). I think it may be due to the two days preceding the quarter change date being a weekend (as was also the case last quarter) as nobody will be updating dealer websites etc.
The Motability website is saying that the new quarters prices will appear later than usual tomorrow, which makes it all the more useful if we can find any manufacturers price lists.
June 30, 2024 at 10:49 am #283425Not rich pickings I am afraid, but the following dealer appears to have updated the ‘from’ prices of various Skoda models on their header page when compared to the current quarter:
https://www.hawcogroup.co.uk/skoda/motability/
Note: the linked to pdf brochure on the above page currently still links to the Q2 version though.
June 30, 2024 at 11:13 am #283429Another dealership that appears to have partially updated the Advance Payments for Q3 (quite substantial increases compared to Q2 if this is correct) for Cupra:

June 30, 2024 at 11:36 am #283434I’ve just come off the telephone from speaking to a Ford dealer. The prices are definitely on the system as she was reeling off the new ones for the Mach-E. What was interesting is that she says there are no Select models with the Tech pack in the UK so it would have to be a factory order which they are happy to do. and have been doing for a while.

I don’t suppose by any chance you asked what the price will be on the 23.75 with the tech pack?
thanks

It’s gone up £800.

Thank you so much. I’m picking one up in a few days and I would hate to be in the situation where it had come down and I end up paying more than I needed to so as weird as it seems I’m happy it’s gone up.
June 30, 2024 at 1:11 pm #283444If we had a thread per carmaker ,then within each one all convo relatimg to that particular car maker only.,to me would tidy things up a little .

The idea was soley to put manufacturers Q3 prices as a quick reference point, rather than a discussion on each manufacturers pricicing.
June 30, 2024 at 10:02 pm #283481Probably the least amount of leaks I’ve seen, I wonder why

Yeah, its extremely quiet isn’t it!

It doesn’t help the quarter starts on a Monday, a good few dealerships are either closed or limited staff on Sundays. I also think there’s been a lot of noise around prices going upward, for all fuels. I’ve specifically heard about the Mach E and Enyaq both going upwards and most Skoda increasing.
It doesn’t seem like it’s a lot of new cars and low prices type of quarter. Let’s hope I’m wrong.
