I tried the power cycling but still not working. Anybody else had this issue and how did they go about sorting it out please?

Brilliant!
Was the schedule set from the car or from setting price cap on Ohme app?

</p>
I did both. So i set a schedule in the car for the Octopus go hours and i also set price cap at 9p kwh on the ohme app. I even set the same schedule as the car on the ohme app too so both ohme and car was set to charge at 12.30am-4.30amMarch 25, 2024 at 9:51 am #269256I didn’t think you could set a start &finish time schedue only a departure time in the Ohme app but that doesn’t matter as its working and that is all that matters.
I also find having to set a location on Enyak for it to charge weird but I guess these things are set to try us.
Hope you are able to enjoy the car now to its full potential 🙂

And sorry yes your right i didn’t set a schedule time on ohme i just set a departure time of 4.30am and set the price cap.. Still learning ?
I find it strange that you have to set the location on the enyaq too but that is what made the difference in the end
March 25, 2024 at 2:17 pm #269788I wonder if the Enyak requires you to set any locations of fast chargers you may use and whether it will charge faster by doing so.
March 25, 2024 at 2:22 pm #269789Possibly yes. I will test it next time i need to use one and update on here
February 9, 2025 at 5:14 pm #297402Hi all: for the last 2 or 3 weeks I’ve been having a problem with my OHME app not being able to communicate with my charger. In the app the charger appears to be online, I set a schedule and then plug the car in. The app prompts me to approve which I do, it then goes in to a loop of calculating, approval required, calculating, approval required. After 3 or 4 cycles I get a charger offline message. However I can set a schedule from the charger itself which works. Has anyone else had this or have any suggestions of things to try while I wait for OHME to reply to my ticket? I’ve done a charger power cycle leaving it off for 15 minutes which made no difference. Charger firmware appears to be up to date. If it were a one off I might accept the support pages suggestion that it could be poor 4g service in my area but this has been happening every time I charge for the last 3 weeks or so and none of my other devices have had 4g coverage problems.

Try powercycling the charger for 15min (turn mcb off and back on after 15min). The charger should reboot and install any updates, if there are any.
February 9, 2025 at 8:42 pm #297420Yep, have tried that each tme I have the problem. Sometimes it works, today it didn’t. The bizzarre thing is that If I adjust settings on the charger I can see this reflected on the app, and if I change a charger settign from the app such as locking and unlocking buttons, or switching on and off the approvale required setting this works, but the app seems to be incapable of initiating a charge, whether max or smart.
February 9, 2025 at 9:05 pm #297421API issue possible,
February 12, 2025 at 11:07 am #297552I heard on ohme, Facebook page that, paring you car is often very unreliable. So you set it up again and don’t pair to the api.
Then you set it to add a certain percentage, as opposed to the amount of % you require.
Also make sure that you don’t have two conflicting schedules on the app and in the car or on the cars app, you need to use one only..
Also if it says offline it should revert to being a dumb charger. So you can use the cars app or car to start a charge. Although I don’t know if you have approve on, if it will, not personally had that issue. But believe the ohme app connects to their servers then to the unit not directly to the unit. So if there’s an issue that side the app won’t talk to the unit. So that could cause an issue. which is why I don’t use ohme to schedule the charge.
I personally, use the simplest method, I set the schedule and max charge level in the car, I’ve turn off dynamic charging on the ohme app. I just plug the charger in whenever and it starts at 12am when my cheap tariff starts and stops when it hits 90% or its 7am.
