My ohme pro is showing offline for last 5 hours now
I tried the power cycling but still not working. Anybody else had this issue and how did they go about sorting it out please?

Are you still getting power to the charger (LCD lit up)? If not reset the RCD/breaker in the consumer unit.
If the charger is getting power, switch the breaker off in the consumer unit and wait 2-3 minutes before turning it back on again.
If that doesn’t work contact Ohme, so they can check and reboot any software glitches etc from their end.
March 20, 2024 at 11:48 pm #268909Heard this does happen although not to me ( yet)
Should correct itself by tomorrow
March 21, 2024 at 9:33 am #268913I changed mine last night with no issues. I’ve only one slight issue with the ohme charger in 15 months of use, when it only charged to 65%, since then it’s been great.
March 21, 2024 at 9:53 am #268914I had it fitted about 6 months ago and i only just got the car yesterday. Went to charge it and straight away i have this issue
March 21, 2024 at 10:05 am #268915Are you using the cars app or the Ohme app to schedule charging?

March 21, 2024 at 11:22 am #268919No expert but things I would try
Maybe forget schedule charging for first attempt go for instant charge on plugin
See if that helps
Reboot then plug car in as heard this can instigate an app pop up to instant charge
Worth a try
If that fails I would advise to start making phone calls

March 21, 2024 at 11:38 am #268922I had it fitted about 6 months ago and i only just got the car yesterday. Went to charge it and straight away i have this issue
how much do you have in your car? Did it charge at all?

Got 60% on the car. No it hasn’t charged it at all. Ohme have said it should still charge even if showing as offline however i left it plugged in for over an hour and no charge was added to the car
March 21, 2024 at 11:47 am #268925I would try a hard reset by turning the power supply to the charger off for 2 to 3 minutes and then turning it back on again.
Then check you have the schedule setup right:

In effect Ohme are saying that even if their end was not switched on ( same as me) the car will still charge but at a very slow rate, so it seems that is not the issue. I would contact the installer directly and have a chat
When it is working properly you should also be able to see load balance and CT Clamp info indicated in the app. Make sure this is the case before the installer leaves (Suspect a revisit maybe needed)
March 21, 2024 at 1:41 pm #268935How do you set what time you want the charge to start on ohme app?
In schedule i just see the time you plan on departing but with my octopus go i want to set the ohme to charge the car between 12.30am and 4.30am
March 21, 2024 at 2:46 pm #268940I was just wondering if your ohme charger app was set up for your car?
If you go into your ohme app and look for MANAGE my EV just to check your charger is set up for your car.
March 21, 2024 at 3:03 pm #268942March 21, 2024 at 3:16 pm #268943It is yes ?

That is all you get. There is no way to set by time.
As soon as you plug into your car, Ohme will initiate a charge. I then pause charging and switch on ten minutes after midnight. I have set Ohme a night schedule between midnight and 5am. Ohme doesnt do it. I have to set my car to switch off at 5am, which it does. The incar departure time is set for 5am.
Ohme sucks bigtime. Like yourself, I wanted to set a timer to start and stop a charge and Ohme is incapable of this.
When Ohme sent out a customer satisfaction review after fitment, they got it between the ears. Everything about Ohme sucks.
March 21, 2024 at 6:05 pm #268952Couldn’t agree more
I take it you have the ioniq yes? Do you set the car to go off at 5am through an app for your car on an ioniq app?

Yes, Hyundai have an App called BlueLink for remote control and checking the vehicle status.Hopefully Ohme will add a timer function to their App in the future. But they wont do it if the customers do not complain.
March 21, 2024 at 7:55 pm #268961If you have Octopus Go, there is no reason to set the departure time through the car!
The charge schedule still needs the departure time set for the following morning but, doesn’t need the car to achveive this.
By plugging your car in after 5pm and setting a deparure time prior to 11am the next morning has the benifit of addiditional half hourly off peak slots during on peak hours. In essence your are gaining more cheap rate charging time, than setting a charging time from 12am to 5am departure time.
Ohme isn’t a product I install regularly, as there are better chargers on the market. Unfortunately Ohme along with Octopus and Ovo have you by the the bollards if you want flexible cheaper rates.
March 21, 2024 at 10:45 pm #268972Fortunately I already had my EV before the charger was fitted. I tested the Ohme was charging before the sparks left the job. It was putting out 7.5Kw.
Octopus Go is not an option for some people.
I much prefer charging at night anyway.
But as I said this is now, and Ohme will be improving the charger software, as the power companies change their tarrifs pricing schedules and charger setup.
Nothing remains the same, it is improving all the time
March 22, 2024 at 7:08 am #268977Well i attempted my first charge last night and i don’t think it went to plan. I set a schedule through the ohme app as im on octopus go i set it charge overnight.
My car app said charge at 5pm yesterday was 55% and after waking up this morning it’s now 61% so a 6% charge only
Have i set everything correctly through the ohme app?
I’ll attach some photos.. I appreciate any help ?
