Always a pleasure to help someone access better medicine and just wish the knowledge was more widespread. We are just patients sharing experiences makes it easier for people in the future pretty much like this place does ,as many are not aware how easy it is to access and is a game changer for many on many levels (legality to).
I imagine your friend was guided by the doctor on their first prescription but at Cb1 they will have input and be able choose what they know works or believe may work as many patients have used this a medicine for decades and know were they stand already and if they need help or advice we’re always on hand .
As I say feel free to ask owt .

January 24, 2025 at 1:22 pm #296556@Stav50 so stav onto vaporisers, so many available, various prices and options.
Is there any recommendations spring to mind..
Thanks 👍
January 24, 2025 at 2:06 pm #296558I use the Storz and Bickel mighty as my portable and an arizer xq2 extreme for household use but in all truth I use the mighty most of the time, I’d love a ruby thermol twist kit as they seems the dogs you know whats lol.
On the desktop vape thread there is an offer for the arizer xq2 for £117 saving £50.
The ruby thermal twist kit is about £180 but needs glass as well for say £30+
The might is about £200ish but you can get vat deduction as it’s a recognised medical device .
Others on the site have more experience with vapes and there is some sound advice and reviews on the vape threads.

January 24, 2025 at 8:06 pm #296567It’s been mentioned to check out the Arizer Solo 2, around £130 as a starter kit, aged now but reflected in the price also portable easy use..
I think is the one they’re showing an interest in @Stav50
January 29, 2025 at 12:06 pm #296762@Stav50 update they bought the mighty for home and portable use, as they say the info you provided has been an enormous help through their process
The metal dosing capsule tops are proving a little difficult to lift off, one got squashed in the process 😆..
take care 👍..
January 29, 2025 at 12:26 pm #296764Cheers for letting us know how they’re getting on and as for the capsules I tend to leave the lid off as the air flow is better but at the same time it keeps the mighty cleanish inside by the flower being in the base of the capsule instead of no capsule at all ,we are also starting to see a few price drops in product prices so this should make it easier for more patients to afford the costs .
Feel free to come and join conversations as we’re a good helpful bunch.
Also we have a thread on Capsules and different members experiences and how they dialled in their use of capsules to best effect and this thread actually helped me give up smoking after 30 odd years.

February 2, 2025 at 7:08 pm #296942@Stav50 so sorry to bother you pal, but I’m the middle fool here, could you tell me the time scale of the 2nd order of CB1 order, ie 1week, 2 week before end date of first order running out.
Should they place an order 1 week or 2 weeks beforehand..ps I have mentioned the forum, but they come to me I ask you, however might be helping others anyway, Thanks
February 2, 2025 at 7:53 pm #296943No worries and I don’t mind at all I was just conveying all are welcome and with CB1 I would say 10 days is more than enough time as it only took them 2 or 3 days this week with my wife’s script but it’s better to err on the side of caution until they understand the timings better themselves and learn to trust timings which will come with experience also they will be due a follow up appointment and this is up to the clinic to inform them to make an appointment but is just a phone call and nothing to worry about .
I’m very happy to keep replying here mate as you say others may gain knowledge/confidence from this.

February 2, 2025 at 9:22 pm #296946Thanks @Stav50 , much appreciated, I’ll pass on the info, and just to let you know, decades of failing meds, this is helping for pain relief they say, you are a massive help to my dear friends, so a massive Thanks from me also 👏🏻👏🏻
February 2, 2025 at 9:55 pm #296947The Da Buddha Vaporizer is decent and with minimal effort setting it up properly can deliver amazing hits. The DBV doesn’t use/need a bag as the XQ2.
Which grinder did they get @ajn
February 2, 2025 at 11:53 pm #296948@kezo the fantastic device @Stavo50 recommended comes with a grinder so not really in the position to advise tbh.
Hopefully this takes the stigma out of people finding any relief from this product, without breaking the law, once the hurdles have been lowered.
My friend is finding it a help with pain, however it’s a personal preference..
February 6, 2025 at 8:57 am #297142Update…
Good Morning, so just an update of pain relief of my friend after almost 2 weeks of using medical cannabis.
Yesterday I popped after receiving a call to do so, as he had a surprise.
I walked in to him sat with his arm elevated, to the stage he could give his Wife a cuddle, don’t sound much to us I guess, however it’s been years, since he could do so due to pain, he did explain it’s short lived until he’s medicated again, but defo an improvement for him..
Also he’s chuffed to bits as no tabbacoo needed, also the cannabis smell due to the medical vaporiser has very much disappeared, which eased his Wifes concerns, she’s very very house proud..
He actually showed me him using it, and there’s hardly any smoke visable from the device, so no room fulls of smoke or the stench of cannabis like I guess we’ve all seen or smell elsewhere..
Anyone reading this might think I’m all for this stuff, however I’m not but it’s defo lifted the stigma around using it for medical reasons rather than just stoners getting high, it’s a personal preference and just an option and opinion of their experience reported to me, and me passing on the info..
Hopfully it could help someone living with constant pain and failing meds..
I asked so out of 10 score, they both reported 10 out of 10, even his Wife..
February 6, 2025 at 12:54 pm #297159This is heart warming to read and you are describing to me magic moments your friends are rediscovering and lets hope it continues to improve further but wow.
This is how a fellow member on our forum summed it up . Beautiful.
P.S with the mighty you get the storz and bickel plastic grinder and for plastic its good .
I use a flower mill grinder from amazon for £12 that’s cheap and easy to use.
Cheers for relaying this ajn and so happy your dear friends are benefitting .

February 6, 2025 at 3:26 pm #297165Thanks @Stav50 for the the help, replies and patience throughout the whole process, I’m sure if his Wife could give you a big hug she sure would, great to see a glimmer of the couple back, just like before his disability, truly great, really is..
That will probably wrap this topic up from me..
A genuine big Thanks again Stav50 ..👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍
