Has anyone done any comparison between the two vehicles (apart of the obvious skyrocketing prices of KIA)?

I have seen EV6 a couple of years ago and I found it too low for me. But then I had VW Touran.

It would be good if someone can share from the experience on the practically of EV6 in comparison to Enyaq: the boot, do you ever use the frunk,  how comfortable is the driver’s seat: can you adjust it upwards (you can’t in Enyaq- it is not real move up) etc.

      Sent from a mobile device.
Apologies for briefness and spelling mistakes.

We have had our EV6 awd for 17 mths now (AP was £4950 then, price increased just after!) can say it’s a great car. Well built, great battery efficiency, over 4.1mpk at the moment giving a 309mile range.

Drivers seat height adjustable, find them comfortable, long trips are no problem. Very spacious, rarely use sport mode, normal with No 2 paddle settings we find the best except in town. Prefer the styling of the EV6, Frunk used for storing the charging cables, find the boot spacious for our Springer! The car feels made for the Driver (not far off BMW’s) more so than the Enyaq.

Would I have another one? Yes, BUT not at the current AP!

You can in mine, electric drivers side with memory. I think the two are at two different price points, you’re comparing apples with oranges.

But the Enyaq is a solid car with great software integration and a massive boot. But you know all that anyways! Save your money and buy a new telly or something!

This is definitely apples v oranges.

The Enyaq is a slightly elevated estate car whereas the EV6 isn’t that elevated has the boot space of a large hatchback and has a much sportier setup.  Inside both are comfortable cars but the Enyaq has much more of a feeling of space.  I felt the cabin around the driver’s seat was setup for the driver to access buttons and information much easier and I much prefer the dual screen arrangement in KIAs/Hyundai over that one large screen sticking out of the dash.

Charging is the big difference.  KIA has the benefit of the 800v infrastructure, which really does mean you can put a massive boost to the pre-conditioned battery in the time it takes to go to the loo.  The Enyaq really requires a look around the shop/pick up a coffee before you’re good to carry on.

Realistically, there’s no justification in terms of quality or spec between the £2k Enyaq and the massive AP KIA want.

If you’re even vaguely looking at 7 or 8 grand cars, the Polestar is worth a look as well.

If I was choosing between the two cars it would be the EV6, which would be purely down to the fact, I don’t like a portable TV sticking up ontop of the dash and the tiny driver display, where as the EV6 has dual screens, making the the dash look much more linear and modern.

However, we are all differnt in what we like and have to respect each others oppinions.

I don’t notice or look at the Enyaq screen except when switching off lane assist, the drivers display I rarely use apart from correcting the stupid auto speed limit mistakes, I have the HUD which I find much more usable.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

I’m with Phaedra on this – my current Kona has hud which I like and the Elroq sportline I swop to at end of month has hud which- I find it particularly useful when giving directions when you are on an unfamiliar route – yes I get the 13 inch iPad sticking up isn’t the best design, but I expect it to be functional.

I started an Elroq thread – when I get the car I will be happy to share my honest thoughts – not sure I’ve ever had a perfect car – always compromises.

To upload a video, you would need to create a youtube vid and paste it on the forum.

It is a great pity that the EV6 hasn’t kept to AP payments closer to the Enyaq & Hyundai Ioniq 5’s, which are excellent cars and see many of them whilst driving around.

I refuse to pay an high AP over £5000 as it is then worth considering buying a 2/3 year old car of my choice and putting my savings into that instead.

Is the Hyundai ev6, not the same as the kia, as that has a reasonable AP.
