      Hi All,

Had my Ioniq 5 Ultimate My24 with Tech pack for 5 weeks now.

Charge was 100% when i picked it up, and received a thorough handover from the sales guy what also kept me in the loop from ordering in June to picking up the vehicle on the 3rd of September. The only (minor) gripe i had with the dealership was the car needed a software update which they didn’t do (its the update to enable over the air updates).  But no major dramas, managed to download the file and perform the update myself, its just like updating your PC.

The car is phenominal, by far the best car i’ve had.  The technology is mindblowing, the cabin is so relaxing.

I’m charging once a week on a friday when i get home from work which works out more great.  Last week i racked up 250 miles during the week and still had 40 miles left on the range, so far the range has been fairly accurate, even with the aircon / heater on constant, and driving normally.

Even with the weather i’ve not had any issues with the lack of rear winscreen wiper.

I got the car primarliy to save some money compared to the diesel Tiguan that went back, but didn’t expect to like this car so much.

So far the the cost of electric has been £14.39 compared to around £120 in diesel which is mindblowing.

The Ohme charger and app have worked perfectly since i’ve had the car.

I have travelled around 750 miles so far.

Whoohoo 🥳 glad to hear you’re enjoying it 😁  if this is your first EV and you want to go longer runs then I’d suggest having a practice at rapid charging first so you can do it in a relaxed unhurried manner instead of in the dark and in the rain 👍

I’ve got the Ioniq 6 which is now on 7,500 miles after 3 months 😁😂 fabulous cars 🚗 😍

@Rhodgie, thanks for the tip, i’ve worked out how to get the battery preconditioning for rapid charging to work, will take a trip an extra couple junctions on the M4 to a rapid charger soon, so i know what to expect when we go to Gatwick.
