Hey guys,
So I’ve found a dealer who will give 500 off the AP if I order now. He says delivery will be around SEP and will be the facelift model.
Do you think I should order now or wait for the price refresh in July? Likely no further reduction in APs?
Thanks

Lee mentioned he is waiting for Hyundai to update their system. Unfortunately it is not something he could do. Atleast that’s what he told. He was positive that I would get MY25 with tech pack for same discounted AP agreed earlier but his guess was we would have to forget the relaxation seats and memory seats that were in MY24 tech pack but not in MY25 tech pack.
will keep posted on this thread. What did you order?
October 10, 2024 at 8:19 pm #290753I ordered ultimate with tech and this has been updated to my25 with tech on my Motability online account, price to pay is still showing £3999 to pay but he’s assured me I will only pay the agreed £299 on pick up.
He did say delivery end of October when I ordered in June and keeping fingers crossed this won’t change much.
Seems like some in another thread are having a right ‘mare with their orders due to the model changeover. Lots of conflicting info flying about 🙄
October 11, 2024 at 12:10 am #290759Was the AP only £299 when you originally ordered? What a bargain.
October 11, 2024 at 10:05 am #290771ah.. same boat here. Mine is exactly the same (Ultimate RWD with tech pack) in cyber Gray. Ordered middle of June and had same ETA. Let us see who gets it first 😉 , that is if we will ever get the car

PS.
October 11, 2024 at 10:07 am #290773Think the AP was £2050 for Ultimate RWD with tech pack. Factoring NVP of 750 and dealer’s free upgrade from premium (worth £1k), it came to £300. They had this only for RWDs and not on AWDs.

October 11, 2024 at 5:56 pm #290787So got an email outlining the differences between the tech pack we’ll get compared to the tech pack we ordered (no relaxation seats etc) which we know about and I asked him if the end oct delivery timescale is still on track and he said;
Hyundai are yet to update the orders we have placed. This is due to happen in the next week. Once this is done they will check stock and let me know timescales. This will not be October though.
Wishful thinking it won’t be delayed 😫
October 22, 2024 at 1:47 pm #291493@PS I see on another forum you’ve made some progress with your order well done!
Could I ask which number, you used to speak to Hyundia? I’ll try and get some info on my order too if possible
October 22, 2024 at 3:28 pm #291496I called the customer care on 0800 981 981. It is the number on their website.

Ok thanks, phoned that and she’s contacted the suppliers and will get back to me. I’ll update when I know anything more

That’s great news, did they confirm if it will be the AWD?

@ianp That’s brilliant news.
i managed to speak to the executive team at Hyundai yesterday as park of my complaint to the CEO
the emailed me back to say it’s now been converted to MY25 due march for the colour i have choose on my order, they did say we would have priority on stock
It’s now showing as MY25 on the Hyundai tracker was showing yesterday as MY24 and it now has a VIN allocated too, so something happening
i email them today to confirm if this will be an AWD version, they have not come back a yet, but hopefully as you have had yours confirmed it will be AWD
one thing they did say is Motability would be last to update their systems I guess they are waiting on the October update for the AWD variants that was due October as per the last comms that was posted.
If you confirm it’s definitely 100% AWD I’ll make the decision to wait for the colour that I ordered or see what’s available from any stock in AWD
will update as soon as I know
all the best

its good to see that you are making progress with your order. Did you ask them about the missing items from the tech pack? or are you happy to accept the omissions??

Hi Gamo
This was also in the question I put to them, asking if anything would be done to make the replacement closer to the original spec (missing relax seats etc)
I have had good think about this one, as much as I would have loved the relax seats etc, I’m not going to push it any if they confirm I’ll get the AWD with new tech pack.
It is a bit rubbish we are getting slightly less nice things, but we are also getting a lot just going into the facelift, for me the rear wiper and new OS system with the revised console with shortcut buttons and bigger battery and heat pump are all such a big upgrade for me to accept the missing seats, if I had got the pre facelift I would have had no rear wiper or heat pump, the new OS if future proofing things ans the wireless CarPlay is a nice touch too
I’ve came to this conclusion after reading all the Enyak debacle and now what’s been happening here with the Ioniq 5
I’m hopping the others waiting for the AWD get confirmed too, it’s only Ianp at the moment who’s 100% confirmed, so will feel better once I hear the others are getting the same good news
its been stressful, due to all the price increases in all the other alternatives I had on my list.

Yes I hear what you are saying. Hopefully you will get your confirmation ASAP.
November 13, 2024 at 11:51 pm #293257So after calling Hyundai customer services 3 times and getting 3 different docking dates (and one ship name that doesn’t even dock at Tilbury!) 8th of December seems likely at the dock with delivery to dealer about 2 weeks later, although it still says delivery March 25 on the Hyundai tracking site 🙄
@PS did you get a date or a ship name from Hyundai cs when you called? I expect our cars might be on the same ship.November 14, 2024 at 5:59 pm #293298Not sure why my post is awaiting moderation, didnt have anything offensive !
November 14, 2024 at 6:22 pm #293296Same here.. ship reaching UK on first week of Dec, dealer says likely delivery in early Jan but tracking site says delivery in Feb.
I read in one of the hyundai forums that EUKOR is their shipping company and they ship from Ulsan in S.Korea to Tilbury port in UK. Searching their website (https://www.eukor.com/schedule-search), I got below.
I’m assuming both of our cars are on Morning Cecile ship. you can track where the ship is at
What I’m wondering is why mine is Feb and yours is March. Maybe because my dealer is just outside London and yours far off from Tilbury?

Three or more hyperlinks, an image counts as one.
November 14, 2024 at 7:53 pm #293305I reckon the delivery dates on the Hyundai tracking site are deliberately later so it feels like a win when you get it early, well I hope so!
Mines going to Eden in Wokingham, is yours the same?
November 14, 2024 at 8:09 pm #293306yes, same Eden in Wokingham
Strange, same dealer, same ship but different months 🙂
November 14, 2024 at 8:11 pm #293307thanks a lot for clarification
November 14, 2024 at 8:43 pm #293310I’m taking anything from Hyundai with a pinch of salt tbh they’ll probably be on the same transporter.
Ill see you there!
