if an order is cancelled does the next order move up like a queue system or does a new order that comes in replace a cancelled one?

My guess is that the dealer would keep a cancelled order on its books and flog it to the first person that comes through there doors who offers extra wonga to jump the queues.

Queue jumping of course does not apply to Motability customers because we have no incentives to offer the dealer.

I would think it depends how far on the order is. If it has not yet reached the build stage I would imagine all following orders would move up one. If it was being built the order would have to be completed, and the spec would be locked in. So long as it was a good spec I don’t think the ordering dealer would have any problem shifting it in todays market. Not everyone would want a purple car with no options though. I would, but then I have my car on order already; they don’t do purple Minis, so I had to settle for a yellow car that looks lime green in certain light.
