      @kezo

Just received an email from my HA regarding the charger install requesting more documentation.

We now have a full list of what is needed from the customer post installation of an EVC:

Electrical Installation Certification (EIC) includes NICEIC/NAPIT electrical installation of full works โ€“ you have provided thank you

Would you be able to provide the following please

EV charge point installation certificate along with make and model + clear photo of installation
Certification of Part P Building Control โ€“ Ohme have advised this should have been sent out to you
Evidence from the District Network Operator (DNO) โ€“ due to GDPR Ohme has said they cannot provide this and would need to come from the tenant – DNO (Northern power grid) gave approval on the 18th Dec, the approval reference is ENQ23160563.
Documentation on manufacturers warranties if received

I don’t have any of the above, and no idea what they want from the DNO?

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

EVHS Installer Authorisation Letter – ProEV.pdf
From DNO – AOE – no works required – small works.pdf
        Napit Cert.pdf
        ProEV Insurance Certificate 2023-2024.pdf
WCS Installer Authorisation Letter – ProEV.pdf

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

The Napit EIC should cover the charger installation (a) new circuit (b) consmer unit.

Part P certificateย  can take up to 30days to arrive, from when the installer notified your LA’s building control dept. (You can check on the LA’s online planning portal to se if it has been registered yet)

Send DNO ref: ENQ23160563, if by email forward to the HA or just a note with ref number on

Was there anything in the box that stated charger warranty? I will see if I can find a warranty cert if not.

          Was Jeffrey Davison the installer?

            It’s me ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve emailed the DNO saying my HA has asked for the following,

Evidence from the District Network Operator (DNO) โ€“ due to GDPR Ohme has said they cannot provide this and would need to come from the tenant โ€“ DNO (Northern power grid) gave approval on the 18th Dec, the approval reference is ENQ23160563.

Only thing in the box was the instruction booklet. I assumed the warranty would be given to Motability as they paid for it.

If the HA already know the DNO approval referance, I don’t know what else they could want!

You could forward the DNO email that has the referance number on it.

They really haven’t got a clue mate and Ohme want shooting for not sending all the documents to the property owner.

                  Agreed ๐Ÿ™‚

The Ohme document and a copy of the DNO email outlining the work plus me telling them I’ve asked the DNO to pass on whatever it is they have seems to have done the trick, well most of it!.

She’s going to contact me in a month to see if I have the Part P, who will that come from, Pro Ev ?

And once again, thank you very much for all your help ๐Ÿ™‚

Hopefully this will be the end of it!

Just waiting for Octopus to update my billing and see what I was actually charged for charging the car.

The registered electrician or ProEV will notify the work with you loacal authority’s building control dept, who should send out a Part P cert. It can take 30days before you receive this.

You can also check on you LA’s planning portal to see if it registered

I’d like to think this will be the end of the matter, so you can get on with life. Shame I didn’t live closser but, hey ho we got there in the end ๐Ÿ™‚
