      Hi Everyone

I  did post this in the “Open Arms” under the title of “Rip Off Britain”, but I thought it would be better here.

Did anyone see today’s Rip Off Britain program on BBC 1 this morning?

If not then I suggest you watch on BBC iPlayer, as there is an article on the Ford Ecoboost engine and the problems customers have had regarding the engine failing and Ford refusing to pay for new engine to be fitted, especially when they knew that there was an inerrant fault with this engine.

Just show’s how bad Ford customer service is as well as their product is, “Found On Roadside Dead” or “Found On Roadside Daily” One customer has stated that although they have had Fords in the past, after this debacle they will not have them ever again.

This is an issue for cars built between 2011/13 so should not affect anyone using the mobility scheme

I think if it was on the BBC rip off Britain programme, it only effect the people of Manchester.

          LoL.

            Typical Biased Brodcasting Company.

Wont be happy until you can only buy German cars. (Which gave alsonsuffered major engine and gearbox issues by the way)

I seen a news item, may have been the Beeb, that Ford and VW are getting together to produce a new model so we may in future see Ford’s with decent engines.

That said, I’ve never had any problems with the engine or gearboxes in Fords or VW in the many years I’ve driven them.

Could be some folk just don’t know how to drive or look after an engine like the guy across the road from me who every day through the Winter revs his engine up into thousands of RPM to get the engine warmed up before setting off on a icy morning.
