Expecting 4 guys today to install heat pump and fit solar panels but only one guy appeared. A fair bit of coring through walls and fitting copper pipe was completed. The pump hadn’t arrived in the morning but turned up at about two o’clock so he concentrated on fitting pipes.

Program for tomorrow is complete heat pump install and fit the solar panels. The electrician needs under the floor to cable from the fuse box to the garage so a bit of work for me to lift the carpet to allow access to the floor hatch.

The electricity and heating will be off for a few hours so I will take the wife to my daughters until work is finished for the day.

I’m hoping all the work is completed by Thursday 🤞

Update, the installer is refusing to come back to fix the solar switch and other outstanding items on the list until the batteries are delivered. This will be late March.

I really need to get rid of this guy he’s a nightmare.

Kezo how difficult is it to fit three Fogstar batteries? I’ve looked online and it seems relatively straightforward but I’m not familiar with electrics. Do you think its something a DIYer could do?
