I try it every year but usually give up after around 10 days. This year I’m thinking it’s gonna be a bit easier as I came down with flu on New Years Eve and can’t even think about alcohol, I’m thinking I’ll last at least 2 weeks.

I’m not doing it Jojoe, however yearly I have up to 12 weeks of real healthy eating, no sweets, cake, biscuits, coffee, water only to drink(it’s difficult).

plenty of fruit, veg, mostly chicken breast, odd steak and veg, no chips, takeaway curries and all the goodies that go with takeaways..

I find breakfast can be difficult as I love breakfasts of any sort, cooked, cereals, takeaway, alsorts.

Gave up booze about seven years ago and don’t miss it.

The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.

Like Brydo, I gave alcohol many years ago, 2013 so 12 years tee total. Never missed it one little bit.

I’m finding it really easy but it’s only been 5 days. Next Saturday night will be tricky, FA cup football live on TV, may have a takeaway curry.

havent given up totally as such but since my pain killers were increased about 10 years ago i can probably count on my fingers the number of alcoholic drinks in a year. usually when i am on holiday. last holiday in oct i had 3 drinks and none since.
