I lost my Higher rate of mobility in February 2017, I appealed and got the Higher Rate of P.I.P in December 2017.

I had a Doctor’s appointment in October 2017, who advised me to inform the D.V.L.A which I did but not without it’s complications lol.

So after 11 months I have got my driving Licence back  only for 3 Years but it’s better than a poke in the eye with a stick.

I am thinking of rejoining the scheme

Should I get something sensible or risk the Daily Mail’s hate and get something I like?

I would just get something that’s suits your disability and as for the DM they got plenty of things going on to take their minds of disabled folk.

I had a Test Drive in a Mini Cooper S auto really liked it, but I’ve got a few more to test drive but the Mini has set the Bar high.

Loads of equipment, very nippy, a paddle change auto box 0-) ,

But can I justify such a fast car?

Strangely,  that’s exactly what we did at great length and looking at our needs from many directions,  and bugger me but it came out as BMW every time!

You’re exchanging your allowance for a vehicle. If you want to put £0 or £3500 it’s a personal choice. It’s your allowance so do what makes you happy and try to ignore what others may think! It’s a good lease deal that is paid by you from your allowance.
