The Honda zrv 2.0ltr top spec advance after £750 and £250 deductions comes in at £499.
Pano roof, adaptive CC, hands free boot with kick opening, ambient lighting, Bose SS, heated front and back seats, heated steering wheel, HUD among others. It’s top spec so too many to mention.
Official 48.7mpg but two reviews got 50 & 51mpg without trying. Also got decent all round reviews maybe apart from exterior looks.
Boot to small for me or I would consider going back to ICE for all that at 499

Has it put you off Des ? My Chr was assembled in Turkey of all places so I can’t complain
January 2, 2024 at 12:43 pm #253385Just read that it’s assembled in China
Where have you read that Mike? Not as it matters as the likes of the BMW iX3 are built in China and shipped to Europe.
Kezo I googled where is the Honda ZRV made ? Are you ordering one ?
I found it mate the EnY1, ZRV and CRV are built in China. All three models are currently on sale in China and are built by Honda’s Chinese joint ventures with GAC and Dongfeng.
As I suggested its becoming common practice especially with EV’s, that European manufacturers are entering joint adventures with Chinese Automakers. BMW – Brilliance Auto partnership for the iX3. Tesla do it, VW do it among others. As I said previous I don’t see a problem with it 🙂
I don’t know what I’m doing yet mate.

Wouldn’t put me off in the slightest. This car is just to small for me or I’d be very interested.
I’m going over to Skoda soon and will call into honda and have a look at it. All our main dealers are right beside each other.
January 2, 2024 at 12:58 pm #253391Des Kezo after watching many reviews on this car what I like is the gearbox not being a traditional cvt like in my Chr which spoils the car it’s so noisy until it calms down ! I also like the equipment list and the roominess etc I’ve tried to phone my dealer three times not answering

The gearbox is eCVT with touch of Honda Genious. Unlike tradition Variomatic CVT there is no belt and uses Planetary gears instead. Honda has gone a step further in making it drop the revs electronically. Clever!
The overall package for £499 after using the NVP and £250 GCP makes it an excellent choice on the scheme.
January 2, 2024 at 3:26 pm #253420Just back from the dealership and was in the sport model in Metallic blue with black alloys. It’s a lovely looking car inside and out. Decent materials inside, similar to what Peugeot are doing.
It’s to small as I’ve my heart set on car camping and non EV so I’m out, but its a great car for the price and well worth anyone’s time to have a look.
January 2, 2024 at 3:28 pm #253421My Honda dealer just phoned told me black paint free other colours are £899 !

January 2, 2024 at 3:30 pm #253424I managed to get through to my dealer at 0930 today. Extended test drive booked for tomorrow morning. Very very helpful but did say they had a lot of motability interest in the 30 minutes they’d been open…
Anyway, the lead time was only a few weeks unless you want spec additions. I think I’d want the rugged pack.
See how tomorrow goes 🙂
January 2, 2024 at 3:31 pm #253425I was told all colours free…

Just of phone with my localHonda dealer.

Platinum White Pearl £650 + VAT free for Motability
Radiant Red Metallic £650 + VAT free for Motability
Still Night Pearl (blue) £650 + VAT free for Motability
Diamond Dust Pearl (white) £975 + VAT thinks its free for Motability.
Arranged test drive Monday morning and he will comfirm if Dimond Dust is free or whether their will be a difference to pay ontop of mettalics. (@Peterf says his dealer included it for free) but not bothered as not a fan of white.

Thats what I was told half an hour ago. @PeterF has been told all colours are free, whic I expect to be the case for the Diamond Dust when I go Monday.
How much are the colours on Honda’s configorator – anyone looked?
January 2, 2024 at 4:41 pm #253453Test driving an advance spec one tomorrow lunchtime. Was told all colours are free as well.
January 2, 2024 at 5:09 pm #253459Great @JMC
@Menorca Mike just gone through configure your car on Honda website and the colours are priced as stated by my dealer, shown in previous post but free for Motability. The Robust pack £1550 includes the running boards (side steps), which wouldn’t interest me.
January 2, 2024 at 5:27 pm #253463Cheers Kezo I won’t mention colours to sales man till after test drive and only then if I like the car I like the red and blue metallic as shown in my photos yes those side steps look awful imho
January 2, 2024 at 5:29 pm #253464I’m planning my route tomorrow garage is just 5 mins from motorway and dual carriageway
