Has anyone received the BMW charging card with there BMW Motability Car? Would like to access there cheap Ionity rates https://bmw-public-charging.com/web/en/bmw-gb/
Free optional IONITY Plus subscription for 12 months: normally priced at £11.30 per month Preferential rates: up to 350 kW @ 26p per kWh

Thanks for the link had a look at it need vin number ours getting built 26 feb hopefully

Where are you seeing that offer? The link you’ve provided shows paid tier for Ionity at £6.30 a month which reduces the price to 59p per kWh.
I’ve had my BMW for three years and used the tariff you mentioned which was very helpful, but I wasn’t eligible for the free 12 months as it was a Motability car (just like other manufactures are offering free chargers etc, you won’t get those if you’re making a Motability order).

I posted to see if people who had taken delivery of the i4 had been able to get this offer?
I was told by salesman motability customers do not qualify for the card when I asked after ordering i4
I got the bmw card free subscriptiom with bp pulse and ionity 12 month offer when i got my i4.registered and all set up,however im yet to use the card .
This offer looks pretty good but I believe it’s not available to motability customers,

i placed a order for a Bmw I4. I cant have a home pod installed at my property. At the dealership i was told i will get a BP plus card please can someone advise how this works? Also do we get the Bmw charging card with this to? As i will be charging my car at at the stations.
also do I qualify for this? I will appreciate any help on how to obtain the card and how it all works.

BMW charging card shows up on my invoice. I’ll find out tomorrow if it includes the free subscription and I’ll post an update then

Hi, I enquired about the £750 bmw free credit charge card and was informed that it is not available to Motability customers.
Thanks matt. Please can you keep me posted as i am new to all of this. Dealership mentioned the Bp plus card and motability as i cant have a pod installed. I want to benefit from cheaper charging or advise how to do so. As people have said the IONITY chargers etc.

dealer has said as I don’t want a home charger I’d receive £750 credit for public charging (first elec car) has anyone else heard of this?
also delivery date of around early April, when did you all get order codes etc, ordered last Thursday and haven’t had any communication since

Option 2: £750 Charging Credit^ – already have a charging solution in place? We’ll apply £750 charging credit to your BMW Charging Card Contract. Charge your new electric BMW at any of the 495,818 charging points across Europe, wherever and whenever you need it.
Just be aware of the Ionity stuff. They say its a free subscription, but find they take £6.40/Month. Its from every manufacturer, and not a bmw only deal.
It may be worth your while at £6 /month if you are relying on public chargers.
If you travel across Europe often, it may work for you.

The question is why, as it doesn’t cost bmw any more for motability customers to receive the same offer, should motability customers not normally be eligible for the bmw credit charge card.
Bear in mind that the fitting of a home charger does not cost bmw , as it is covered by motability;

Mine insisted it was only for non-motability customers

I picked my car up at 10 o’clock and have just registered the BMW charging card information above. I’ll post a review later on tonight as I’m having to much fun at the moment!
Just to add, the dealer did ask if I’d had a charger fitted by Motability, I never asked the question about the £750 credit as I did get a charger fitted, but I’d assume that Motability customers must qualify for it otherwise why would she have asked me the question

I collected my iX1 Msport today and salesman apologised and said the iX1 does not qualify for £750, if anyone does get the credit please let me know

Motability buy vehicles directly from the manufacture at a vastly reduced cost than a retail customer can buy from a dealer, as such there is far more profit to be made from a retail customer. So there is profit in the vehicle to swallow £750, thats if its not allready added to the retail price in the first place.
The offer is open to both retail and some business customers only.
