Hi All,

I’ve not seen many threads here about the BMW 2 Series coupe. I am interested in getting one only thing making me think twice about it is the 2 door! Can someone who has a BMW 2 series coupe shed so light on how it is on a day to day basis and if you have encountered any issues.

Also, what has happened to the 2 series convertible? I was told it’s taken off motability due to the face that they are just too hard to get hold of.

I don’t know anything about BMW’s to be honest but I’ve heard it mention on the Motability site that two door cars are an access for disable folk as the doors tend to be larger so giving more leg room getting in and out.

There not so popular here though because most folk have to think of family being carted along and for myself having to get out of the car to let someone get in the back would be a real pain but two doors otherwise can be a benefit.

Thanks for your comments, it is actually my wife that has a disability and we have visited a showroom and she says she finds it comfortable getting in an out the car, I do also have family so will need to use the back seats this is probably only may 2 to 3 times a year on the motorway, and I don’t think it should be a problem. I just very much like the sporty look of the car. I have a BMW 3 series at the moment (personal) and the 2 series is only 134bhp so I’ll need to take it for a test drive.
