Million dollar question, as it depends on the ize of the caravan (2,4 or 6 berth), it’s weight and whether your going to stick to 80% rule, especially if new to towing.

Motability car is due for renewal in 6 months and currently don’t have a caravan just toying with the idea of what’s the best tow car on motability, just in case we do decide to buy a caravan we would need to know what are tow weight was

Mazda CX60 – 2500kg tow capacity and more importantly, the car weighs that as well.

Horrible car though – well the model we got in September 2023. Told the newer version is sorted.

350BHP Petrol 4WD, 0-60 in 5 seconds and PHEV so not that costly to run. Had the Mazda tow package and there’s a towing mode. BUT NEVER TOWED WITH IT!!!

We tow with a Suzuki Across PHEV excellent tow car but like the RAV4 Ap just shy of £7000
