Hi All, has anyone ordered the A3 Saloon. Been down today to our local dealer and we were impressed with the Edition 1 spec and AP amount.

Have you looked at the Škoda Octavia?

Great looking car, or for the same price you can get the Q3 Sline 35 tsfi or the Black edition.
It all depends if you want a small saloon or SUV.

i agree lord muc. the bmw looks much better, the a3 saloon looks like a squashed a4

The A3 is a sleek/sexy looking Saloon, The 2 GC is a bit to big and bulky looking especially the back of it.
Audi wins in the looks department by a mile and I drive a BMW! Audi is on my shortlist for when we order in the new year. Great spec and great price.

Agreed. I think the BMW looks awful at the rear…very dull. No wonder no one ever puts up any photos of it!
Although while the Audi looks much better th BM will drive much better.
Audi looks ugly from the back and the overall shape of it makes it look like a squashed saloon family car which is odd, the bmw looks much more beautiful from the front and side at least, the rear is debatable.
Mike, brilliant, this is a great way to lighten up, being in tier 4.
And lets not forget that the BMW is a lot more expensive on the sheme. If we are comparing an Audito a 3 series it should be the A4 really
With the discounts offered by BMW dealers the price difference is not that big especially as the 3 series is far better spec’d.
Not sure who put that pic of the Audi A3 saloon up, but thats the old model. The new one in edition one form is a classy looking motor (especially in Tango Red).
I like the BMW GC, but I do think the new Audi just pips it. The Merc CLA is much better looking than both though.
Mike I dont think they do the the M235 on Motability 🙂 we cant even get the Golf GTD on it 🙁
Phil sorry it was me who put wrong photo up that photo of the car in tango red looks fantastic how much is the same car advance payment in automatic ?
