@stuart. Sorry to hear your motor wasn’t on Morning Peace when it docked at Tilbury. The next ship leaves Ulsan on the 27th of Feb and arrives at Tilbury on the 6th of April. Fingers crossed it’ll be on that on.

@Stuart. Don’t know if you’ve had any news from the dealership, so here’s an update on Morning Calm. She’s passing Madagascar going the long way round, missing the trouble in the Red Sea. She’s now due in at Tilbury on the 9th instead of the 6th of April. Hope your cars on there.

----------------------------@Markymate @Stuart there is another boat, the Boheme, currently docked at Ulsan and due to leave there today (18th) which I’m hoping my car is on as original departure was due on the 15th…. fingers crossed it’s on the Morning Calm but not counting on it
I hope both your cars are on the Morning Calm, otherwise it’s at least another 5 to 6 weeks before you’ll be picking up!
And there’s nothing worse than waiting for a new car, I’m 9 weeks into my wait for the Sportage LOL!!
Let’s hope it’ll be sooner rather than later for all of us.

It could still be on Morning Calm, Stuart. If the ship arrives on the 9th, it could easily take up to 3 weeks from port to dealer, then 4 days Motability PDI, which will take you into the beginning of May!!
Mind you, if Hyundai do the same as KIA, you should get an email saying your car is safely tucked up on board a ship.
Finally some good news, my car is in the country and awaiting transport so the dealer is saying this month for sure.

Hyundai are bringing out a Ioniq 5.5 in October for those that cant make their minds up between a 5 and a 6.
Will keep you all updated as soon as i get a date from the dealer as to a hand over date. Going to take a week off work and do a decent weeks testing.

We have had our Ionic 6 ultimate since December last year and 2000 odd miles, so if anyone has any questions please ask away and I’ll do my best to answer. We are enjoying the car very much so far, just switched to OVO anytime for charging at 7p per kWh so that makes it very cheap to charge at home.
Just had some great news, the car is ready at the dealers and im collecting it Saturday at 1pm. Been a long long wait but i cannot wait to get it now. Hope all those waiting wont be far behind.
