@Stuart I ordered at the start of November, mines should be built by 28th February, shipped on 15th March, arrives in UK on 3rd May and at dealer by 29th May ?
Can i ask what colour interior/exterior combo you went for please
Ordered about the same time as me then, im getting a little worried TBH. Dealer told me my first choice of digital blue was no longer available to the UK in the ultimate trim and when i checked it was indeed no longer on the UK configurator, however when i look now its back on but the Ultimate red i ordered has disappeared. I have messaged the dealer a few times but they always seem to be evasive around the subject of the interior, i ordered light grey but on the order under the trim section it just has a dash not a colour option. On your order sheet does it state a colour under trim ?

----------------------------@Stuart have you got the internal order number known has the 1011 code back when I ordered the Tucson. If so you can contact Hyundai UK on social media/email and ask for an update quoting the order number.
@Stuart it does sound a little confusing on your part.
Just checked my order and it does state Ioniq 6 77kWh RWD MY24 Nocturne Grey Metallic, just as I’d ordered. It doesn’t state the interior trim colour which is black, maybe it would if it were lighter?
I do have the 1011 code as @kezo mentioned but I haven’t bothered chasing it up as my dealer has been good and he gave me the dates I’d mentioned earlier… maybe I will later if I’ve got time?
If I had any complaints it would be that when I ordered in Nov I’d have expected it to be here sooner than June… I sometimes think the dealer was waiting to see if what came in on the next boat matched mine or if they could get it from another dealer before doing a fresh order ? or maybe it’s just that all cars are delayed these days cause of Mad Vlad ?
I don’t know for sure but either way getting it in sunny June is better than February ? v ?
Where would i fond the 1011 code ? there is nothing resembling that on my order sheet.
All i got was the order sheet from Evens Halshaw, that has an order number on it but its not 1011 and my order states the model correctly but like yours it does not state a trim colour. They keep telling me its built but waiting shipping but personally i think they are been economical with the truth.

@stuart. Sorry to hear your motor wasn’t on Morning Peace when it docked at Tilbury. The next ship leaves Ulsan on the 27th of Feb and arrives at Tilbury on the 6th of April. Fingers crossed it’ll be on that on.

Originally ordered the ultimate nocturne metallic grey with light grey interior normal mirrors, on the 28th December with June July delivery . Dealer rang me in mid January to say he has a stock car in stock, was a bio blue with light interior with digital mirrors would i be interested. After discussing the discount for the digital mirrors paid half price. pick the car up on the 22nd march which is my change over date . Only problem now is I drive past the garage every day going to work and see it parked up in the compound ? so tempted to end my agreement early but only few weeks to go . Was lucky the dealer kept the car in there compound for so long .
Thanks to whoever said ask for the 1011 number – Dealer quoted me May (Ordered start of Jan). I’ve since checked with Hyundai and they’ve said July all going well.
That could sink a torpedo in me getting a 6 as I’m new to the scheme and my current car goes back in June. Has anybody had an order come forward?

@KamKam is your current car NOT on the Motability scheme?If it is on the scheme then all good, you’ll just keep it until the new one is ready.
If not then you’ll either need to try and keep it longer although that could be a problem if your next car is delayed any? Go without a car, again a problem if any delays… or ask the dealer about getting a car that’s already in stock which might not be your preferred choice of colour or trim?

It’s a private lease, so not on the scheme just yet unfortunately. Apparently the Ioniq 6 RWD stock has been consumed and it’s mostly factory orders now. Had my heart set on the trim/model foolishly!
Hyundai said to give them a shout at the end of March for a more detailed update from the factory. I’d be surprised if it came forward

Talk to your leasing company, I had a Skoda Yeti when I got my Ateca in 2020. I’d originally ordered a Tiguan but that got messed up!. Skoda were very good and extended the lease as needed, no extra charges just kept paying the usual lease payment.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

Will give it to April if it’s still a bit sketchy I might need to travel like you suggest. Suppose it will condition me for EV life!
Talk to your leasing company, I had a Skoda Yeti when I got my Ateca in 2020. I’d originally ordered a Tiguan but that got messed up!. Skoda were very good and extended the lease as needed, no extra charges just kept paying the usual lease payment.
VWFS are very good at extending had a few through them. This one is through a company called Close Brothers and they don’t extend.
Hello to anyone who’s thinking about ordering the Ioniq 6..Go For It!!!..you will not be disappointed!!!..If you haven’t ordered yet? and if you can afford it? go for the Ultimate trim over the Premium trim..the Ultimate trim the best trim IMHO..I have the Ioniq 6,Ultimate trim, in Abyss black colour, w/light grey leather interior, you get heated leather seats front and back..Driver and passenger electric front seats..electric open/slide sunroof..dual interior ambient lighting which looks amazing at night…self parking…and the list goes on.The drive of the Ioniq 6 is so smooth and the torque is incredible..the interior is luxurious and the amount of tech you get with this car is amazing!..It’s my first electric car I’ve owned and I LOVE IT. I hope this helps anyone in two minds of Ordering one.

Glad to hear you are enjoying it. I could only get a test drive of the prem AWD version. I’ve heard mixed reviews of the BOSE sound system what’s your thoughts?
- @KamKam Hi, I find the Bose sound system more than adequate, good bass, and I’ve found no sound distortion at high volume levels. Also KamKam have you seen the Ioniq 6 in the Ultimate trim?…It takes the car to another level over the Prem trim.
