I can place my order in February next year for the end of May, I would imagine there will be a waiting list for the new Tiguan along with a hike in the AP and no longer be good value.
Hopefully like the Ford Kuga VW may reduce the Tiguan AP even more to get rid of the old stock. At the moment my short list consist of the VW Tiguan R Tech 150 diesel @£2199 and the Toyota RAV4 Design 4WD @ £3249
