I went for the Allspace Match because I thought it have the best value for money (based upon my limited budget) at that time. We don’t need the extra seats (to be fair I don’t think even VW considers it to be a true 7 seater-only an occasional one) although the extra room it offered meant I could load my wheelchair with the 2nd row of seats remaining upright. I would be happy to compromise on this for the extra kit offered in the XC40 R Design, i.e. heated leather seats etc and better cabin design (in my opinion). I’m sure I’ll be happy with my choice once I’ve taken delivery. Unfortunately I guess this happens to others when there’s long waiting times for certain vehicles, there’s always the temptation to have a look if there are any better offers in subsequent quarters?
