I wouldn’t worry about being fined there is probably no one around to police idling law. I understand that it’s a £30 spot fine for riding a push bike on the pavement, how many of these fines have you seen issued. The pavements are dangerous places to walk as there are so many people riding bikes on them and those electric scooters. Im having a grumpy day today
You would be surprised at the lengths so jobsworths will go to. It’s a good job I don’t get out much because in our town you can and will be fined for many things.
The police, in many areas, do on enforce the law despite it being illegal for a cyclist to ride their bike on the pavement and people wonder why people shop on line.
