If it gets extended to all new leases I think they’d struggle to manage the enormous volume of terminations that they’d be dealing with!
Sadly Motability have had the right to install a Telematic device baked into their T&Cs for at least the last 6 years, with significantly more precise wording in the latest (October ’25).
I’m currently working with a client to see if we can get them out of their lease due to them getting a new PA (under 30), but at the moment Motability are stating that’s not a valid termination reason due to the T&Cs
