What also seems to not be factoring in is that those who are forced off the scheme and are not able to lease, will have to buy a much older car with its higher emissions and less safety. Kind of makes me feel like getting one of those £750+ a year ved cars and then using the motability status to get it for free, just to stick it up to the government. I think I may start scouring the classifieds for a V12 and then sit there revving it outside the gates of downing street. Maybe the only time I can afford to run it, but at least I’d get some satisfaction. That’s a joke by the way.
