Has anyone submitted a FOI request to see what the mileage proportions are?
As Motability Operations are a private company the FOI does not apply to them. If asked, they will probably say it is commercially confidential or commercially sensitive anyway. A good way for companies not to answer a question. My employer does it all the time.
As an aside the DfT quoted annual car mileage was circa 7500 across all motorists.
