On BBC Question Time last night they were talking about cost of living pressures, and a lady in a wheelchair mentioned the changes to the Motability scheme that were going to be costing people over £1,000. In a typical government dodge, the government minister on the panel said that he was happy to talk to her “after the programme” about “her situation”, which leaves the audience thinking that the issue is specific to her, rather than all Motability customers 😡
