    I chose an EV last year. Through Motability I had a charger fitted. The installers will take you through the requirements .you’ll be sending photos of your meter – it’ll need to be a smart meter and fuse box. Also photos of your house & where you’ll want the charger installed.

    As the charger install is free it’s a no brainier. I’m on a smart tariff with octopus and get cheap charging at night (reducing by 50% on 1st April).charging at home will only cost a few pounds. Public chargers are a different matter. I’ve no EV regrets and don’t missing filling up at these current prices. Car also drives better than an ice and is probably more reliable.
