like everything else its a mish mash,next door are responsible for maintaining the actual hedge its their boundary although they rent from rykneld.if they were infirm then rykneld will do it.
the grass strip my side of the hedge i am responsible from my back gate down to level with my front lawn, beyond that its council.
although the council in fairness do mow it all if you can call it that.
initially i am going to acturately measure the distance from the far side of the gate to my back garden down the bottom of the hedge exactly where the cable will run to the end of the hedge then diagonally from there to the grass strip by the kerb which i will need a cable cover for i reckon a 2m strip will do it, then whatever i need to where the charge port will be roughly allowing a bit extra to allow for parking issues lol.
to start with unless i can get the socket sorted by may i will run it in through the small lounge window, which is what i currently do for strimming and mowing etc.. having it ajar overnight isnt an issue you cant reach in and open the large window so its secure. i reckon 30 m will cover all eventualities and as its only going to be out there overnight i dont think anyone around here is going to kick up a stink i get on with most of the neighbours and i will just have a quiet word beforehand.
failing that once a week at dobbies int going to break the bank so long as i stay away from cotton traders.
