Wet are with Octopus Go EV rate, at present we are paying 8.5p kWh, this is going to change to 9p kWh, we export at 15p kWh, as from Marc 1st this drops to 12p, given transmission losses 9p is actually 10p kWh, and export at 12p allowing for transmission losses ia actually 11p kWh.

We are now at a point where there is little or no difference between charging up the PHEV on off peak or solar, I can see EV off peak slowly increasing and solar export slowly deceasing due to global market prices.

Australia due to solar generation at time electricity is actually free and charge for actually exporting solar energy.

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
