– In theory, an electric seat should provide no more comfort, the seat itself is, after all the same, just serves the means to move it. In my view an electric seat is more precise in adjustment, having midway stops compared to the same number of fixed notches on manual seats.

Cloth seats are always the most comfortable but not the most stylish as leather. Now here’s my thing with eco EV malarkey, the seats are vinyl plastic, not leather and won’t breath the same as even coated natural leather.

– Power tailgates are indeed nice and you can set to a precise opening angle, but less of a concern with composite materials used in todays manufacturing.

– I wouldn’t have an ICE without heated seats and steering wheel.

– I agree cooled seats are nice and more so on leather/Vinyl. Like you, Ive done without for 40 odd years, but unlike your wife, I find them pleasantly exciting, as if someone is blowing gently on my cockles😂 However, they aren’t mandatory and no guarantee you’d get them on other manufacturers cars.

– Wireless AA/CP wouldn’t bother me if it was wired

– HUD, I often forget is there and still see myself glances at the speedo etc and is a luxury ythat might be an expensive option pack on a future car.

– Cabin comfort and space is a must, theres no joy in a game of elbows when on a long journey. Same applies to storage/boot space.

– off for a long soak in the tub!
