My personal imo reasonable take on the matter for what it is worth
Firstly why do motorbility quote the Home 7kW charging speed on said car on its car selection site without warning that its not always achievable
And I also think no matter the small print
Its a reasonable everyday expection imo and I suspect also in consumer law
That the customer both private and also motorbility be clearly informed by Motorbility/the manafacturer and also their distributors before handover of contract that said vehicle/s do not meet the usual and expected normal standard that being to be able to simply/reliably home charge.
Pending OTA updates imo in this instance do not cut it
For many suspect most not being able to easily home charge would be a deal breaker
Its not reasonable that Kia/seller/Motorbility are not clear on this matter but instead stay silent and expecting people to dive deep into the technical specs after contracts have been signed
Reasonable expectation is based on the norm/rest of the market and the weight that home charging can have on a buyers choice
Tbh and to sum up
I think its very clear that Kia in the first instance should have sorted this known issue out prior to UK release
