Recently looked at EON and thought you got 6 hours? Currently with Octopus non intelligent go and my main gripe is the day rate is not fixed, compared to Eon who from memory offer a fixed day rate.
You do now get 6 hrs on Eon next drive. The 5 hrs is many all other EV tariffs like Go. They are only 5 hours.
Currently till the 4th of Feb, I have 7 hours. I can add about 10% an hour. Sometimes 50% won’t cut it. Especially after I go visit family on Sunday, I returned home with 5% charged up to 73% overnight, and it was a cold one. 63% I could live with, just in case I have Something on the next day.
With the 5 hr Go tariff you can fix for 12 months or be on a variable same as IOG. Although the standing charges and peak rates differ slightly. whereas on IOG only the peak rate differs, and the 8.5p on go for 5 hours is not ideal for me, 7p is better.

Eon’s ev tariff also doesn’t have any exit fees, not sure about Octopus. Eon do have a newer smart tariff, but my car isn’t compatible.
