Yes but if buying your own EV would you I am thinking not as said there are not many petrols and certainly not any diesels left or big engined cars if you can list some Automatic large engined petrols pray do tell me.

In a heartbeat.  I’ve had 3 EVs, one of which was a scheme car.  I’ve absolutely no problem buying a car that makes me feel less stressed.  As an autistic person with sensory overload problems, driving in a car that only has road/wind noise and barely noticeable vibrations, I much prefer the EV as an environment to be in for any length of time.  Then there’s regenerative braking, the ability to drive using only one pedal to both accelerate and decelerate from stop and back to stopped, saving me multitudes of leg rotations per journey, which saves a huge amount of pain in both knees and hips.  Yes, if I need to stop quickly I can use the brake to do so, when I can’t it’s time to give up driving, but in normal situations, I can do all I need without the pain of unnecessary movement.

I'm Autistic, if I say something you find offensive, please let me know, I can guarantee it was unintentional.
I'll try to give my honest opinion but am always open to learning.
