Only disappointing thing about the EV4 is that you can’t get the GT Line S, which means you miss out on a number of things (the heat pump availability for example) and there is no way to add some of the missing stuff (memory seats for example) onto the other versions. In a perfect world you could add memory seats, heatpump and the HUD to the Air trim. But that’s not how Kia do stuff :(. Plus, and I know it’s a bit ‘marmite’, I prefer the fastback version’s design haha.
I certainly wouldn’t be worried about buying an EV without a heat pump. I’ve had an Enyaq without one for 2 years this week and never needed one. Real world tests by motoring journalist showed the same set up in a VW with a heat pump barely improved range by 5% and you would need to do in excess of 85k miles to recoup the cost.
Simply not worth it.
