I agree, that’s good advice. I know I’ll kick myself if I cancel the order and come the better weather be wishing I had the independence of a car.
But if after living with the car for a few months I find out it’s making my life harder for me rather than easier, I’ll phone motability and explain to them. Hopefully they will understand. I’ve known from the outset it’s a bit of gamble as to how I’ll get on with a car, but I unless I try I’ll never know.
I was wondering should I contact motability now and explain to them my worries, and ask them to make a note on my file, as it might make it easier I do have to hand the vehicle back mid-lease? Or better to say nothing and cross that bridge if it comes to it?
Any thoughts appreciated.
NB: I understand I’m the only one who can decide but I value other people views, I have nobody else to ask, at least no one who has a disability and understands the MB scheme.
