Now.. My guess is, they want to turn IM basically into the Lexus of Toyota, or Infinity of Honda.

Yes! Believe they will come with IM branded logo’s, but have MG IMx on the rear. Which if right will be a smart move, as a recognisable brand, rather than just another Chinese car. The infotainment on the new MG’s (HS) has improved considerably to older models and are much more responsive, but can be a little fiddly still however, that could be because I’m use to the Tuscon, but do like the new HS.

Yeah. I don’t know why, i haven’t even looked at all the Dolphins, Omodos, Xpeng and whatever they’re all called (there seem to be hundreds of brands suddenly). Actually i probably do, but i don’t want to admit it to myself.

It’s snobbish, but it is what it is. I know that plenty of cars are made in china, sold under a different marquee (in fact, Audi soon starts too, apparently) – it’s just the name that i just couldn’t do with, it just feels uncomfortable?

Distributing them through MG (or the premium-variant of MG) certainly is the smart thing to do and will absolutely (in my mind) lead to more sales. Including to us, assuming reasonable AP (and availability in the first place, of course).
