My council wouldn’t allow any sort of cover to be used, hence the KerboCharge. However, when I talked to their EV team about the repair they mentioned they were trialling several options including place on the surface type coverings. Be interesting to see if they change their minds about them as quite a few councils do allow their use as long as they are clearly marked etc.

Pretty much like mine, Although I imagine in the future as more go electric and you get one of those surface coverings outside lots of house that’s going to be a pain for everyone walking down the street, never mind those in wheelchairs or with mobility issues.

So I’m all for the channels just not having the whole liability for it on me..

My insurance did say if someone was to trip on the lead or anything when plugged into the car then it would be the car car insurance that’s liable, not the home insurance. So I can see that also being an issue and it being a whole minefield of nightmares, if someone was to make a claim. If using a cover over a channel.

But if I want one it is what it is… I have to agree to there terms..

Odds are we’ll send the application off, as it will make life so much easier.

Not easy to get the car onto the space and restricts the size of car we can get and any access, hence why I only also charge at night.

I only put the Vitara on there for the survey and don’t normally park it on there. Which I have charged  only once  so far since I got it and still have 66% as we all had colds and not been out much.
